Owner of a Bag is a creature from many different cultures across Native America. It is known as the Bogey among the Arapho people, the Indacinga of the Ponca people, the Apotamkin of the Masileet people and the Hagondes of the Seneca Americans. Owner of a Bag was a giant owl that owned a large bag, which it used to keep children in to carry off to its lair. Stories of this creature were used to scare misbehaving children into acting better.
